My Girls Graduated Kindergarten!

So today was Kyzleigh and Kyra's Kindergarten program. It was so cute! They did a little fashion show, telling what each kids favorite outfit was to wear to school. Kyzleigh of course went for comfort (long pants and a cute shirt) and Kyra went for the look of the outfit (a cute denim skirt with leggings under and a polo shirt). They are decideing that they want to dress differently so that everyone will know which is which. Then they sang a few songs and then each were given a scrapbook from their teacher of all of the things that they did this year in school. I can't believe that my girls are going to in 1st grade. Now it will only be me and Jace, and he is really looking forward to being the only one with mom all day!

Jace's 4th Birthday!

Jace's birthday fell on Memorial Day this year, so we had a big BBQ (in the rain). We had to move everything in the house because it rained almost all day. I think that everyone had fun!

I know that Jace did! He was so excited to open his presents. He got so many cute things.

I made his cake, it had to be a CARS cake. Its the first time that I have ever done anything like it. I think that it turned out ok. My kids thought that I was amazing, I guess that's all that matters!

Happy Mother's Day!!!

My kids are great! They made the cutest things for Mother's Day!

Brett drew a picture of me, notice the spikey hair. I asked him if his friends thought that it was funny that his mom had spikey hair, he said some of them did, but most thought that it was cool!

The girls both made me a flower pot (that I can also display pictures in), and a poem with there handprint on it.

Jace stays home with me all day, so for him every day is Mother's Day! I get drawings from him almost every day.

I hope that everyone had a great Mother's Day! I love all you mom's out there for everything that you all do for each of us! THANKS!!!!

Brett's First Den Meeting

Brett got to go to his first Den Meeting on April 2nd. He looks so cute in his uniform. He has so much fun! He got to make and eat pancakes then help clean them up.

Crazy Month of March!!!

So, I'm not so good at keeping this thing updated. So I will just tell you what has been going on this month.

Because we have 3 birthday's this month we decided that on each kids birthday we would just do a family thing and then at the end of the month we would have a big extended family party.

On March 14th Brett turned 8. I can't believe that he will be getting baptized. Brett got some pretty neat stuff from mom and dad. He got a CTR ring; his very own scriptures and a hymn book to go with them. From his sisters and brother he got 3 new Playstation Games. We also went to see "Horton Hear's a Who" it is such a cute show.

Then this month Easter came. March is too early for Easter, at least that's what I think. The kids had fun coloring eggs. This year we only colored 1 dozen. No one ever eats the hard boiled eggs. The rest of the eggs were plastic filled eggs. They liked it better.

This year we went to My Aunt Jody's house. We had dinner and then we let the kids decorate some bags so that they could go on an Egg hunt. I think that they all had a good time. The kids were running around so quickly that none of my pictures turned out.

Now for the girls birthday. The girls got a new sandles and The Littlest Pet Shop toys. They were so excited. They chose to go to IHOP for dinner. Then we came home and watched Mr. Magoriums Wonder Imporium.

Now the big family party. We invited all of the Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. The kids decided to have Ice Cream Sundae's. Everyone got to pick what kind of topping they had on their sundae.

Brett only got a few gifts other than money. He needed money so that he could buy his cub scouts uniform. He is so excited about starting scouts. He got his Wolf book for his birthday and read throught the entire book in one weekend.

The girls got lots of girly things. Like Strawberry Shortcake and Littles Petshop. They got some outfits. All in all everyone got great gifts. Thanks to everyone that came and gave a gift!

I bought the kids a small chocolate cake just for them, so that they could blow out their candles. We had a great time. Thanks again to everyone!!!

I know that this is a lot to take in all at once. I hope that I will be able to do better in the future. This was our crazy month!
